Thank you for your feedback! I have 3 big bags of stuff to take to Salvation Army-- mostly shoes! Here's what is staying and going:
The Pumps: Flat toed Nine West pumps are gone
The Low Heels: Both pairs are gone
The Mary Janes: Keeping both pairs, getting new heel caps on one, and getting the Dansko MJ's stretched
The Work Flats: Keeping the ballet flats, ditching the slingbacks and buckle flats
The Boots: Ditching the Timberlands, keeping the sassy pointy toes and comfy block heels (sorry, Kate!)
Dansko Clogs: Keeping for Haus shoes, but eventually will replace with a new port wine colored pair. I've looked into having them repaired before, only to be told it would not be worth it.
Six pairs of black shoes eliminated, eight remain.
Eventual NEW purchases: Dansko clogs in port wine (mentioned above), a pair of bunion friendly work shoes that have decent support and are good for long distance walking, snow/rain boots- not black this time!
Sarahbyrdd: Yes, I do have too many close toed shoes. But keep in mind I only showed you my fall/winter shoes. The summer collection was packed away until a few days ago-- they need weeding out too!

Time to start looking for a new pair of summer Clarks!
Interesting to note that quite a few people have been looking at my shoe pictures on Flickr, esp. the pumps-- not comments, just lots of views!
